Journal of Neurodevelopmental Cognition

Journal of Neurodevelopmental Cognition (JNCOG) is an international biannual peer-reviewed journal published by Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, Iran and sponsored by the Iranian Society for Cognitive Science & Technology. It is open access, also it is free of any publication charges. We agree to and follow the COPE publication ethics, also we follow the CC BY creative commons copyright license.

JNC was initiated in 2022 containing two issues per year.

This journal publishes original high-quality research papers that promote experimental and theoretical contributions to address neurocognitive development in both normal and abnormal directions. From this point of view, JNCOG has special interests in both normal neurocognitive development and the pathogenesis of neurodevelopmental disorders. A primary focus is on the influence of environmental and biological factors on cognition-brain development using experimental psychology, brain mapping, computational modeling, and cognitive interventions in human, animal, in-vivo, in-vitro, and in-silico models.

JNCOG publishes six types of contributions: regular papers, invited papers, survey papers, technical notes, book notices, and forums (very short papers containing comments on published papers, discussions of open problems, discussions of research perspectives, and so on).

All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity through a trustworthy software named SAMIMNOOR to be assured about its originality and then rigorously peer-reviewed by the international reviewers.
