Journal of Neurodevelopmental Cognition

Journal of Neurodevelopmental Cognition (JNCOG) is an international biannual peer-reviewed and open access journal published by Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, Iran and sponsored by the Iranian Society for Cognitive Science & Technology. We agree to and follow the COPE publication ethics, also we follow the CC BY creative commons copyright license.

JNCOG was initiated in 2022 containing four issues per year.

This journal publishes original high-quality research papers that promote experimental and theoretical contributions to address neurocognitive development in both normal and abnormal directions. From this point of view, JNCOG has special interests in both normal neurocognitive development and the pathogenesis of neurodevelopmental disorders. A primary focus is on the influence of environmental and biological factors on cognition-brain development using experimental psychology, brain mapping, computational modeling, and cognitive interventions in human, animal, in-vivo, in-vitro, and in-silico models.

JNCOG publishes two general types of contributions: Original and Review Papers.

All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity through a trustworthy software named SAMIMNOOR to be assured about its originality and then rigorously peer-reviewed by the international reviewers.
